What is MainPesa Lotto?

MainPesa Lotto is a lottery you play straight from your phone. Pay TZS 1,000 to business number 711777 with reference 123 and you have a ticket. Winners are picked in the draw and paid straight to their mobile money.

What reference number do I use?

The reference is always 123, for everyone and on every network. Do not change it — payments with a different reference do not enter the draw.

Which networks can I play on?

Vodacom M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money and HaloPesa. Use business number 711777 in the Pay Bill menu.

How much is a ticket? Can I buy more than one?

One ticket costs TZS 1,000. Every TZS 1,000 payment is one ticket — pay twice and you have two tickets and twice the chances.

How much can I win?

The prize for each draw depends on the tickets bought for that draw: the more people play, the bigger the prize. The amount is announced with the results on Main FM 91.7 and on this website, and paid straight to the winner's phone.

How will I know if I have won?

All winners receive an SMS and are announced on Main FM 91.7. Prizes are paid directly to the phone number you paid from.

When are draws held?
